Christmas in Disney World!

Some people like to travel during Christmas and others like to spend their Holidays at home with family. If you do ever get the chance to visit Walt Disney World during the holidays, I strongly recommend you do it!

Disney is so magical already, but when you visit during the Holidays it is even more spectacular. There are many tress and decorations that erupt all over Disney that give it the extra magic touch. To see Cinderella's Castle shining bright with Holiday lights is even more beautiful than you can imagine. I am still hoping the Christmas lights return to the castle in the future.

Each park has its own theme and decorations to match. Disney's Hollywood Studios gives me all the glitz and glam of the 1950s Hollywood decor while EPCOT showcases the many different cultures and traditions for the Holidays. Animal Kingdom had several decorations, but nothing can top walking down Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom while it snowed after the firework display.

Our family even got our picture taken with Santa (COVID restrictions). We were so happy to capture this moment after a delicious meal in Disney Springs. Disney Springs was VERY crowded during this time, but we usually like to shop around World of Disney while sipping our delicious drinks.

If want to avoid crowds, I would attend their holiday events between November and December. The week before Christmas, the crowd level will increase drastically and the week between Christmas and New Years is always the MOST crowded. The wait times surpass 60 minutes on almost all rides. We visited December 20-25 and had the best time! The most crowded was Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom. We visited Magic Kingdom on the 23rd to avoid Christmas Eve crowds.
